Running R code in StatXact® 9 and LogXact® 9

Cytel's programming bridge to R

A new ‘Execute R’ feature allows you to connect to and run R commands in either StatXact® 9 or LogXact® 9, including:

  1. open and existing R code file and execute it in the Cytel Studio 9 environment (StatXact® 9 or LogXact® 9)

  2. write and execute new R code in the Cytel Studio 9 environment

  3. connect case data in Cytel Studio 9 with R code

For example, to fit a linear model to Myeloma.cyd stored in the Samples folder of Cytel Studio 9’s installation directory, simply select the data node and write the R commands shown:

After running, the R output is displayed in the Cytel Studio log window:
