Plotting Enhancements

The extensive visualization capabilities in Maple have been enhanced in several ways. Improvements are available when creating plots with the Plot Builder, the context menus, and through the Maple plotting commands.

• Grid lines: Display default grid lines for a 2-D plot.
• Axes properties: Specify style for one or more axes. This allows you to change the axis color, add grid lines (for 2-D plots), and use logarithmic scaling.
• Glossiness: Control the amount of light reflected from a 3-D surface.
