Maple T.A. Automated Testing and Assessment Tool
Maple 10 allows you to create assignments
from a variety of question types using
standard mathematical notation. Questions
are automatically graded. Because
Maple provides the grading engine,
mathematically equivalent answers
that are not identical to the correct
answers are judged to be correct.
Features include:
- Question authoring environment provides
templates for creating common question
types, such as fill-in-the-blank, Maple-graded,
and multiple-choice
- Questions can
include algorithmically generated content. A single question definition
can produce different instances of that problem
type.
- Questions can contain plots,
hints, feedback, and algorithmically-generated variables
- Assignments
can be used in Maple for student practice, printed, or exported
to Maple T.A. Once exported to Maple T.A., you
have access to all assignment types and properties,
the gradebook, and other Maple
T.A. features.
This feature does not require
that you have Maple T.A, but
when used
in conjunction
with Maple T.A., it provides
a convenient authoring environment
for developing
Maple T.A. questions. Maple
T.A. is an automated
testing and assessment tool
offered by Maplesoft. For more information,
see Maple T.A.
