Analog Insydes is a Mathematica application package for modeling, analysis, and design of analog electronic circuits, tailored specifically for industrial applications. With Analog Insydes and Mathematica you can describe linear and nonlinear circuits and control systems by means of hierarchical netlists, set up circuit equations from netlists in the frequency and time domains, compute transfer functions symbolically, extract approximated symbolic design formulas, simulate transient responses of nonlinear dynamic circuits, visualize your analysis results with custom graphics functions, and document your work with text, formulas, and circuit schematics all in one integrated environment.

Analog Insydes A unique feature of Analog Insydes is its capability to compute approximated symbolic formulas for circuit characteristics. Based on numerical reference information specified for the circuit parameters Analog Insydes detects and discards insignificant terms in symbolic circuit equations or transfer functions automatically, thus reducing large symbolic expressions to simple ones that let you gain more insight into how your circuit's behavior is influenced by its individual elements.

Analog Insydes has been tailored specifically to the needs of professional circuit designers. The application package provides virtually unlimited support for application-specific device modeling. Models of transistors and other semiconductor devices can be implemented as equivalent subcircuits or as analog behavioral models in terms of mathematical equations. A library of predefined transistor models is included in the package. Interfaces to Eldo, PSpice, Saber, and Spectre integrate Analog Insydes into popular circuit design environments--e.g., Design Architect, Orcad Capture, SaberDesigner, and Analog Artist--by letting you import netlists, simulation data, and circuit schematics into your Mathematica sessions.

Analog Insydes Contents In addition to the above, the package is an ideal tool for teaching circuit analysis in engineering education because it provides an unrestricted set of primitive linear circuit elements (including all types of controlled sources) and permits full access to device models and circuit equations.
